We have a weekly fun run and walk EACH AND every saturday

THE THIRD WEDNESDAY OF EVERY MONTH fun run/walk has been cancelled until further notice

 

ARE YOU INTERESTED IN RUNNING OR WALKING a 5K, 10k OR HALF MARATHON?

 

WE MEET EACH AND EVERY SATURDAY AT LOVER'S POINT AT 9:00AM FOR A FUN RUN AND WALK.  COME OUT AND ENJOY SOME FUN EXERCISE (NOT A WORKOUT).

This is meant to be social and so is the pace.  We will cheer you on if you are out to set records.  The purpose of this walk/run is to get like minded people out there to have fun.  We are building a community.

HALF MARATHON TRAINING

Training for the Salinas Valley Half Marathon begins Tuesday, May 18.

Join Fleet Feet Sports and train for the Salinas Valley Half Marathon. The program focuses on all levels of runners. The program is structured to help you cross the finish line of this half marathon with three months training. Along the way we’ll be providing you with motivation to keep you moving, guidance and advice, weekly group training runs or walks, and talks about proper nutrition, choosing the right gear, and avoiding injury. Plus, you’ll have the camaraderie of others just like you. .

This is a 12 week program with our goal race being Salinas Valley Half Marathon on August 7, 2010.

Training starts May 18th. We will meet twice a week, Saturday morning for a long run and Tuesday evenings for track workout.

Cost is $75 and includes a 12-week, coached training program, free informational emails, free Technical shirt and other gear, along with fun, camaraderie and fitness!(does not include race registration)
